Following a successful 25-year global banking career with Bank of Boston and others in key executive assignments spanning the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia, Ben chose to return to the Philippines in the 1980’s to be an active participant in the rebirth of what is now the investment-grade Philippines.

A visionary and business strategist, he transacted one of the first and largest debt-to-equity transactions in the Philippines with President Cory Aquino involving the privatization of the Bank of Commerce.   He created the one of the first and largest BPO/KPOs in the Philippines involving Global Letters of Credit, and remains active in this industry.

Along with global financier George Soros, Ben conceptualized and launched The Philippines first true broadband service provider – Broadband Philippines Co. where he also served in an executive role.

He was twice Chairman of the Offshore Bankers Association of the Philippines.
Ben is presently co-Founder and co-Managing Director of ALTUS Capital Partners, and a Director of ALTUS Digital Capital.
